In 1544, a Portuguese ship sighted the Cingshui Cliff located on the East coast of Taiwan and dubbed it "Ilha Formosa", which means "Beautiful Island."  Nowadays the Cingshui Cliff has been recognized as one of the most worth seeing scenery among the world’s 10 wonders.  “Formosa” as a praise is taken as the best symbol for Taiwan hereafter.  Our company, “Formosa Sounding”, is named as well to symbolize our goal for achieving the human life and the world sound, better.
